Spring has arrived here in the Northern Hemisphere, with the awakening of buds, and daylight pouring into my window for a good hour or so extra in the evenings.
The past few months have been joyous ones, discovering sessions in the city and with the announcement that I am soon to be the owner of a beautiful new harp!
Performances have been busy, and I'm also writing new songs which is taking up a lot of recreational time.
I've purchased a harp trolley which has made the physical side of my job considerably less stressful.
I'm mid music exams and I will easily confess that I find written exams so much easier than performative ones, probably because I didn't go to a performing arts school. Nevertheless, I love singing in different languages theres something liberating and challenging about it.
I look forward to performing again for Event Partners in The K Club next month, its been years from we've been able to have our schedules collide and they're such a fantastic crew to work with!
I'll be airing some new songs at an open mic in the East of the City and have taken on less weddings this year to focus on physical health and quality of life a little bit more.
I've really enjoyed being a mentor for Women In Business, out felt like delving back into the academic part of my mind, and this is something I'd love to do a more more of in the future. I hope to chat to you all soon with new of my lovely harp :) Amy xx
